Good News for the Merciful

Have you ever forgiven someone who didn’t apologize?
Maybe you’ve shown kindness to someone who really didn’t deserve it. You may never get thanked for making those choices.
But long ago, Jesus said, "Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy."
Mercy happens when you choose love over revenge. Jesus says life is good for those who choose compassion—even when it’s hard. And Jesus did this Himself. He offered mercy to all people when He died on the cross in our place.
You can enter into this merciful way of life. It’s not easy, but it is so good!
There’s just one thing…Jesus also wants you to receive mercy. Forgiveness and freedom from every wrong thing you’ve ever done. A chance to start over, a new, eternal life in relationship with the Merciful One.
