Claude Stein, was once a young man from Long Island who once wanted to become a country western singer, and went forward to achieve his goals. While he pursued his dream by taking classes and trainings he realized that his true calling would be a different one. In trying to better his own singing, and overcome stage fright, he discovered an uncanny ability to spot around him other performers’ mental and emotional blockages. Since then he has taught thousands of students whether they are famous recording labels artists to corporate heads, to politicians, lawyers to a former head of state. Claude Stein knows how to create a safe and supportive environment, as well as teach several styles of singing, chanting, and speaking. One student pointed out, "As a psychiatrist, I watched Claude do seven years of therapy in minutes!" Claude Stein specializes in helping beginners find their true voice as a singer or as a speaker. So whether you just want to sing in your car or start steps towards a brand new career, Claude's approach will dissolve those nagging insecurities that often can derail someone's goals or dreams. In this interview he even tests the host's vocal ability to give an example.

Guest Bio: Claude Stein is an international voice coach and a Multi-Platinum Award Winner. His approach blends transformative performance techniques with an array of vocal skills that empower both the novice and professional speakers. Claude Stein has 38 years of experience blending psychology and vocal training. Early in his own singing career he went to private and group therapy to work on his stage fright. And, in trying to better his own singing, he discovered an uncanny ability to spot other performers’ mental and physical blocks. Since then Claude Stein has worked with thousands of non-singers to heal vocal blocks, issues of shame, even reduce feelings of shyness and crippling fear. His workshop has been called The Natural Singer Workshop: Find Your True Voice. Some of the organizations Claude Stein has worked with include: The Juilliard School, the Nordoff-Robbins Center for Music Therapy at New York University, New York Actors Institute, Canyon Ranch to clients which include artists on labels such as Atlantic, Warner Bros., and RCA Records.

The results he achieves are often called “life-changing” and “astounding” by leading voice teachers, recording artists, music therapists and psychologists. He also creates corporate programs for companies such as: JPMorgan, Sprint and Columbia School of Business and has traveled to offer programs all over the world. Claude Stein currently lives in New York State.
