This episode discusses 16th century Hungarian Countess Elizabeth Bathory, eastern Europe's most notorious female serial killer and alleged vampire. Elizabeth was accused of the murder and torture of young girls, and can boast of a death toll of somewhere between 120 and 650 victims.
