In this episode of the Hello Hello Podcast, host Alyssa Rogers visits the breathtaking Homeplace Vineyards in Chatham, Virginia — a family-owned vineyard with deep roots and an inspiring story. Alyssa sits down with Mary Smith, one of the vineyard's owners, to talk about how her family transformed their century-old tobacco farm into a thriving winery now celebrating 15 years of winemaking.

From handcrafting a tasting room out of their great-great-grandfather's tobacco barns to creating beloved blends like Old Green Tractor and Sweet Red Combine, Mary shares the heart, hard work, and family spirit that define Homeplace Vineyards. The conversation also dives into their upcoming Wine in the Vines Festival, family roles in the business, and dreams of expanding into beer and cider.

Whether you're a wine lover, small business enthusiast, or simply someone who loves a great family success story, this episode will make you want to grab a glass, find a porch seat, and soak in the beauty of rural Virginia.
