Joining us is Chris Hastings retired DEA agent who is now sharing his fast paced adventures as an agent in Miami during the Cocaine days. Join us for a dive into the gritty adrenaline-fueled world of Miami's cocaine cowboys era. Movies glamorized it, but he lived it on the front lines against the ruthless Medellin Cartel. In Chris’s new book: Cocaine Cowboys Uncensored, you'll experience the obscene wealth, violence and constant threats Chris faced fresh out of college as a DEA agent in 1979. It's a firsthand account of matching wits with the cartels most dangerous while his life hung in the balance. Academic degrees in Pre Law and Economics took a back seat to sheer grit and survival instincts as I learned daily harsh truths of how the drug trade worked and how to survive.
