When supplementing, Amelia recommends the following dose:

  • Omega-3 (1g per day= 330mg EPA + 660mg DHA) taken with food.
  • Vitamin D (2000IU per day, ideal to test your levels first), taken with food ideally in the first half of the day. Liposomal spray (under tongue) ideal for better absorption
  • Consider Omega index test (goal is an Omega Index of 8-12%)

Professor Heike Bischoff-Ferrari is an expert in aging medicine and aging research from the University of Basel Switzerland. She did her training in Switzerland and the US at Harvard Medical School. She is serving as a board member of the Clinical Consortium on Healthy Aging of the World Health Organisation and coordinates the “Global Consortium in Health Span Extension”. She is also the principal investigator of the DO-HEALTH trial.
