When I had cancer and was deeply depressed, I felt like my whole world had collapsed. I ruminated on thoughts of feeling abandoned by God, alone, empty, sad. I was crying all the time. while I struggled through nine months of treatments. What I thought in my mind, I began to speak out, and I sank lower and lower, until I despaired of life.
