I am really excited to introduce you all to Steven Fox, a founding Partner of Propeller VC, a new early stage venture fund that invests in and builds ocean-climate companies that use science and technology to address the climate crisis. Propeller is the brainchild of Hubspot Founder Brian Halligan and it was designed to be the venture partner for Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution otherwise known as WHOI, one of the foremost ocean research institutes in the world.

While the blue economy is still a nascent segment, there are a handful of ocean focused funds popping up around Europe and the US. But with over 100M under management and a strategic partnership with WHOI, Propeller promises to be one of the major players in this industry.
