Rep. Kevin Kiley, who represents California's 3rd Congressional District, joined The Guy Benson Show today to discuss the ongoing government shutdown and the Democrats' refusal to support a clean continuing resolution. Kiley pushed back on what he called Schumer's "manufactured crisis," arguing that Democrats are once again trying to score political points with the far left rather than negotiate responsibly. He also called out the hypocrisy of Democrats denying that taxpayer-funded healthcare for illegal immigrants is part of their platform, despite championing that very idea back in 2020. Benson and Rep. Kiley then turned to California politics, where Kiley sounded the alarm on Governor Gavin Newsom's latest effort to gerrymander the state and wipe out remaining conservative districts, using voter confusion to advance a deceptive ballot initiative.
