Kevin McCarthy, former Speaker of the House, joined The Guy Benson Show today to explain why Democrats will likely force a government shutdown on September 30th at midnight. McCarthy argued that Chuck Schumer and Democratic leadership feel threatened and are refusing to pass a clean continuing resolution, bowing instead to the pressure of a vocal, influential faction of the far left that threatens to bring new leadership to the party. Benson and McCarthy then discussed pointed the hypocrisy of the Democrats, noting that Dems are now embracing the exact same tactics that Barack Obama once condemned Republicans for using during his presidency.
