Jeremy dons a flak jacket and helmet as he soberly recalls the then most audacious terrorist attack on British soil - an IRA bomb that blew apart a hotel in Brighton in 1984 in an assassination attempt on the then prime minister, Margaret Thatcher, creating shockwaves around the world and prolonging 'the troubles' for years. Dark times.

Elvis comes along to shake his hips and curl his lip and offer some much-needed tender relief with his excellent 1970 UK No 1 hit single, The Wonder of You, which topped the charts for six weeks, and which Vince's mum adored.

Vince abruptly cuts the power off, and lights a chunky candle as he vaguely remembers the energy crisis of the early 1970s when a miners strike saw coal shortages and power stations in crisis, and prime minister Edward 'Ted' Heath was forced to implement 'the three-day week' to stagger the blackouts. Dark times.

Do please get in touch with your memories of any of these events - we'd love to hear from you!
