What is Kaizen and what would be a great example of that in practice?
Manage episode 383736807 series 3418572

Whilst the #agilemanifesto was created by a team of brilliant and experienced software engineers, a lot of what informed their thinking and the subsequent evolution of #agile has deep roots in manufacturing and the continuous improvement in #productdevelopment. #kaizen is a word that emerged from those early days, but is often misinterpreted or misunderstood. In this short video, John McFadyen articulates the meaning of kaizen, and provides a simple example of kaizen in practice.
