About Think 7
Think7 (T7) is the official engagement group of the Group of Seven (G7) that brings together leading think tanks and research centers worldwide. The aim is to provide evidence-based advice and policy recommendations to the G7 Presidency.

The Center for International Governance Innovation (CIGI) is organizing the T7 process during Canada's Presidency of the G7 in 2025.

We invite experts from both G7 and other countries to submit abstracts of Policy Briefs focused on the main policy areas of the T7 Canada Task Forces described below. The Chairs and Co-Chairs of the Task Forces will select high-quality abstracts and work with the authors to develop them into Policy Briefs for consideration to be shared with the G7. The process is coordinated by CIGI in collaboration with other think tanks and leading experts in each field.

The selected Policy Briefs will be published on the T7 Canada website and will serve as background material for the T7 Final Communiqué to be presented to the Canadian Presidency ahead of the G7 Summit.
