Welcome back to Gotta Game For You — where we always have a game lined up just for you! We’re deep into our Summer Game Fest 2025 coverage, and today we’re bringing you Part Four of our gameplay reactions, dev chats, and first-look coverage!

In this episode, Meghan (@Strawburry17) and Shelby (@Shubble) dig into three standout titles that show just how diverse this year’s lineup really is.

First up, King of Meat, a chaotic arena brawler that blends competition, creativity, and pure chaos. Build deadly obstacle courses, outlast your friends, and embrace the mayhem — it’s a fast, funny, and endlessly replayable co-op experience that thrives on unpredictability.

Next, we jump into Marvel’s Deadpool VR, a loud, fourth-wall-breaking experience that captures the spirit of the Merc with a Mouth in full VR form. From the slick combat to the nonstop humor, it’s the kind of game that makes you forget you’re even wearing a headset. We also caught up with the dev team, Phil Therien and Matt Schmitz, to learn how they turned Deadpool’s chaotic energy and humor into an interactive VR experience that feels uniquely his.

Finally, Ambrosia Sky slows the pace with an atmospheric sci-fi story about returning to what’s left of home. It’s emotional, introspective, and beautifully crafted — a meditative mix of exploration, memory, and quiet discovery that lingers long after you stop playing. Shelby and I played alongside creative director Joel Burgess, who shared heartfelt insight into the story, team, and design.

We’re officially past the halfway mark of our Summer Game Fest coverage, but there’s still plenty more ahead. Join us next episode as we dive into more games you’ve definitely gotta play, plus another exclusive developer interview!
