Step into the world of holistic healing with Juliana Fortini, the dynamic co-owner and manager of WNC Holistic Center in downtown Asheville. Juliana shares the inspiring story of how she and her father, a chiropractor with 40 years of experience, created what they lovingly call "the one-stop healing shop" seven years ago.
This vibrant center serves as a collaborative hub where osteopaths, chiropractors, massage therapists, counselors, and naturopaths work together under one roof, often referring clients to each other for comprehensive care. Juliana passionately dispels misconceptions about holistic health practices, emphasizing that "alternative doesn't necessarily mean it doesn't work." She points out that many holistic practitioners have completed hundreds of credit hours beyond conventional medical training, focusing on natural remedies rather than defaulting to pharmaceutical interventions.
Beyond her role at the Holistic Center, Juliana embodies active living as a pickleball coach and co-owner of Creekside Sports Club in Black Mountain. Her journey as a young entrepreneur is particularly inspiring – leaving college early to pursue her business vision despite seeing peers follow more traditional paths. "I don't have to wait to get older to create something valuable. I can do it now," she reflects. The physical space of WNC Holistic Center mirrors its healing mission, with plants wrapping around walls creating an atmosphere where visitors can "walk in and take a deep breath." Experience this unique healing sanctuary for yourself by visiting Monday through Thursday, checking out wncholisticcenter.com, or calling 828-989-8488. Your journey to natural wellness awaits!
