In March 1998, Mike Lewis joined Swansea City as commercial director. In his time at the club he oversaw a dramatic increase in commercial income, introduced Cyril The Swans, and paid a pound to buy the club from Neil McClure. But Mike's was not a happy time at the the helm - the money was running out fast, he was physically attacked at the ground by club supporters who wanted him out and he sold the club on... to Tony Petty.

From there it was on to Exeter City - where he was arrested and then faced court proceedings that ended with community service, while the chairman went to prison.

By his own assessment, Mike is a football nomad. He started his football career at his beloved Newport County, hit the heights at Spurs (where he negotiated their first shirt sponsorship with Holsten), worked at Reading and then Fulham under Mohamed Al-Fayed.

In his first full - and open - interview since the court case, Mike sat down with Jack and Ant to look back at the highs, lows and regrets of his life in football boardrooms.
