‘The religious right taught America to misread the Bible. Christians have misused Scripture to consolidate power, stoke fears, and defend against enemies. But people who have been hurt by the attacks of Christian nationalism can help us rediscover God’s vision for faith in public life’.

Brent talks with Jonathan Wilson-Hartgrove about his new IVP book ‘Revolution of Values: Reclaiming Public Faith for the Common Good’.

Jonathan is a writer, preacher, and moral activist. He and his wife, Leah, founded the Rutba House, a house of hospitality in Durham, North Carolina. Jonathan directs the School for Conversion, a popular education center in Durham committed to ‘making surprising friendships possible’ and is an associate minister at St. John’s Missionary Baptist Church. Jonathan is the author or co-author of many books.
