Canada’s youth justice system is at a crossroads. For too long, incarceration has been viewed primarily as punishment. However, without genuine opportunities for education, skill development, or mentorship, many young people released from custody often re-enter it. What if incarceration could instead be a turning point, a chance to reset and build toward a promising future?
