You never know who you’ll end up sitting next to on a bus to a fancy dinner. To my good fortune, it was Tony Bancroft, former Disney animator who now directs Lipscomb’s thriving animation program, a few months ago. When his twin, Tom, called and said, “Tag, you’re it,” Tony came to Nashville. And the hand-off was so seamless you’d swear nothing ever changed. While they look amazingly alike and apparently share a split genetic gene for drawing, each has his own long list of impressive credits.
