In Episode 29, Bryan, Kellen and Thad are honored to welcome Pastor Paul Daugherty, Lead Pastor of Victory Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Paul’s transparency, heart for people, and powerful faith set the stage for a deeply meaningful conversation.

Paul shares how his upbringing in a ministry family shaped his understanding of leadership and purpose. He opens up about the moment he realized he would eventually step into pastoral leadership, following in the footsteps of his parents.

One of the most memorable stories Paul shares is about his looking out of a bridge one night thinking no one would miss him and things would be better without him to being on a roof top of the church years later being called to keep others from feeling that same way. Paul talks about how God can use even the messy, imperfect parts of our lives to bring about hope and healing. Emphasizing that leading isn’t about being the “face” of a ministry but about building a healthy team around you. He encourages emerging leaders to lean into authenticity, humility, and service.

Pastor Paul hopes for the next generation: to live boldly, lead humbly, and carry a legacy of faith and service.
