Wacom’s Movink is a sleek, powerful, and surprisingly lightweight drawing tablet. The Movink, a 13.3-inch OLED touchscreen display designed for artists, designers, and video editors who need precision, portability, and seamless compatibility.

But does it live up to Wacom’s reputation for high-end pen displays? Let’s dive in.

Movink Design & Build

The Wacom Movink is designed to be thin, lightweight, and ultra-portable. Weighing in as the lightest Wacom tablet, it makes for an excellent companion for creators on the go.

The device features a 13.3-inch OLED touchscreen with dual USB-C ports for flexible connectivity. The USB-C cable connection gives a solid connection so the tablet can deliver being precise onto 10-bit color.

Movink includes two customizable buttons on the frame on either side so you can plug in on the left or right side.

Display Quality

You can change out the display to multiple color palettes, so you can edit in the best way possible. The tablet offers a host of controls on-screen to help in whatever you’re editing.

Pro Pen 3 – The Artist’s Tool

Wacom includes its Pro Pen 3, which comes with interchangeable nibs to suit different drawing styles. The pen operates without a battery, eliminating the need for power failures

Movink Performance & Compatibility

The Movink works seamlessly across Windows, macOS, Chrome OS, and Android. Upon connection, I watched how Wacom’s driver installs automatically.

I was then able to adjust pressure sensitivity, display settings, and button functionality from the OS.

Drawing & Editing Experience

The pressure sensitivity in Photoshop is on point, while hand gestures and palm rejection function as expected. Pen tracking is precise, making it ideal for sketching, shading, and detailed editing. Users can calibrate it for various color profiles, ensuring consistency in their projects.

Using with Other Programs

Since the tablet is simply a touchscreen, you can use it in many programs. For example, I use vMix, and with it, I can switch cameras and bring in graphics using my finger, or the pen.

I also brought in some other video streaming software programs, including web based software. With a good setup, I can easily use this for quicker switching (because I don’t have to find the mouse).

Pricing & Verdict

With a base price of $749, the Wacom Movink is a solid investment for professionals seeking portability and top-tier display quality. It serves as an excellent second screen for precise color work, illustration, and video production. If portability and accuracy are top priorities, this is a worthy contender.
