The broadcast industry is at the forefront of digital business, as one of the earliest to be digitally remastered. Industry leaders in particular have had to deal with the fluidity of digital disruptions happening all around them, which have been more challenging than disruptions in the past. This presentation uses television programming as a metaphor for understanding the different types of change. Furthermore, the broadcast industry experience provides wonderful lessons about how mastering “fluidic change” may be the best weapon a business or organization can wield in the digital business world.
