All-Ireland champions Clare battled back to earn a draw against League winners Cork. Tipperary bounced back from their League final loss to hold reigning Munster kingpins Limerick at Semple Stadium.

Skehill is worried about Galway's lack of style of play and their Leinster chances after a hammering by Kilkenny, Lee Chin starred as Wexford accounted for Antrim, and Dublin had a strong finish to beat Offaly at Parnell Park.
