FutureSounds FM is back for a third season...

In this episode Enzo talks to author and curator, Michael Brown - author of 'Buy Now', a deep-dive into Eyeliner's classic album; part of Bloomsbury's prestigious '33 1/13' collection.

Drawing on original interviews and the album's production archive, the book uses BUY NOW's story to investigate what it means to create, distribute, and consume independent music in an era of global networks and digital technology. It places the album in both the real-world and online contexts of Rowell's life and career, from early websites to the Spotify era, from Lower Hutt to the world.

We also talk to Michael about Vaporwave more broadly, and the wider internet culture that gave birth to the genre we love!
