The Queensland health minister has issued a new order banning the prescription of puberty blockers for transgender patients, just hours after the state’s supreme court ruled the government’s first attempt was unlawful. It is now the only state to have banned gender-affirming care for transgender children. But parents say they are not backing away from the fight.
