In this episode, we read Numbers chapters 22 and 23, where Balak, the king of Moab, calls for Balaam to come and curse Israel. On his journey, Balaam’s donkey sees the angel of the Lord and miraculously speaks, revealing God’s protection over His people. Despite Balak’s attempts, Balaam is only able to speak blessings over Israel, showing that God’s promises cannot be undone by human plans.
