In this episode, we read Ezra chapters 4–6. The rebuilding of the temple faces fierce opposition as local enemies try to halt the work through accusations and letters to the king. But through God’s faithfulness and the encouragement of prophets Haggai and Zechariah, the people persevere. Despite delays and challenges, the temple is finally completed and dedicated with great joy. These chapters remind us that God’s plans cannot be stopped—His purposes will always prevail.
