After Josiah’s death, Judah spirals into decline under a series of kings, leading to the Babylonian conquest, the destruction of Jerusalem and the temple, and the exile of God’s people. These chapters are a sobering reminder of the consequences of turning away from God, but they also point us toward the hope of His future restoration.
