In this episode, we read 1 Kings chapters 17–19. We meet the prophet Elijah, who boldly proclaims a drought in Israel, is miraculously provided for by God, and raises a widow’s son from the dead. Elijah then confronts the prophets of Baal on Mount Carmel in a dramatic showdown, proving that the Lord is the one true God. After his victory, Elijah struggles with fear and discouragement, but God meets him with a gentle whisper, reminding him that he is not alone. These chapters show God’s power, faithfulness, and care for His servants, even in their weakness.
