In this episode, we read 1 Kings chapters 10–11. We see the height of Solomon’s reign as the Queen of Sheba visits, marveling at his wisdom and wealth. Israel enjoys unmatched prosperity and peace under Solomon’s leadership. Yet, his heart turns away from the Lord as he marries foreign wives and follows their gods, leading to idolatry. God raises up adversaries against Solomon, and the kingdom is set on a path toward division. These chapters remind us that even great blessings can be lost when we turn from God, calling us to remain faithful to Him above all else.
