Here is the transcript from this podcast episode.

Derek:

Hey Derek and Stephanie here from freedomcallingrv.com and today we're gonna talk about the best fifth wheel RV for full time living. If this is your first time watching the video, go ahead and subscribe. This is a channel where we talk about all things full time RVing. We kind of document what we've done wrong so you can avoid doing it yourself. So once you hit subscribe there will be a little bell on there. Hit that bell and you'll be notified every time we publish a new video. So, we're gonna get right into it.

Stephanie:

So, when there are a thousand kagillion options on the market for different RVs or different fifth wheels. Even just within the fifth wheels. How do you know which one is right for you? And that's what we wanted to talk about. We came up with a list of questions that we wish we had asked ourselves before we bought our first RV and although we have a wonderful RV and we love, this list would have saved us a year. We looked for a year.

Derek:

Yeah.

Stephanie:

So it would have saved us a ton of time.

Derek:

We should have answered these questions first.

Stephanie:

Yes.

Derek:

And then ...

Stephanie:

Sampson.

Derek:

Thank you Sampson.

Stephanie:

The dog. It's okay. Go.

Derek:

We should have asked ourselves these questions first and then we could have moved into which RV would have fit our family the best.

Stephanie:

'Cause what we did is we went to the dealer and then they tell you all these things and you just get confused.

Derek:

Yeah and you get overwhelmed 'cause you're looking at all these RVs, all these floor plans, and there's so much to know even other than just floor plans. There's so much that you need to know about RVs. And if you ask these six questions you'll be in a better position to find out which one works best for you.

Stephanie:

So really quick. I wanted to tell everybody just because we didn't know when we first started looking, that really within the fifth wheel category there are five types of fifth wheel RVs.

Derek:

Typically.

Stephanie:

Typically. There's a few that don't fit.

Derek:

There some type.

Stephanie:

Most of the time you have five main types and they are your front living, where your living room is up in the front over the bed of the truck. Your rear living, which is where your kitchen and your living room are in the back. Then you have rear bunkhouse. A mid bunkhouse, where it's in the middle. Then you have your toy hauler, which is what we have.

Derek:

There's one that really doesn't fit into any of those yet. It's kind of a new trend. The den. The front den.

Stephanie:

That's why I said front living.

Derek:

Yeah, okay.

Stephanie:

Yeah.

Derek:.....
