James Doty, MD, joins Francesca Maximé for a conversation around compassionate action, building healthy self-esteem, and making the shift from fear mode to love mode. James Doty, MD, is a clinical professor in the Department of Neurosurgery at Stanford University and Director of the Center for Compassion and Altruism Research and Education (CCARE), of which the Dalai Lama is the founding benefactor.
