S2E217 – Bifröst Boundaries

Under the arch of Bifröst, we turn “boundaries” from a fuzzy idea into a felt skill. Start with the Shield-and-Bridge warm-up: feet hip-width, palms over ribs, inhale to widen (shield expands), exhale to narrow (bridge focuses). Use a 4–2–6 cadence to teach the body that saying “no” can feel safe, not sharp. Then map one real boundary across nine breaths: three to sense your yes/no (root), three to voice a one-sentence limit (trunk), three to picture it held with kindness (crown). When guilt or second-guessing swoops in, greet the ravens again—Huginn (Thought) and Muninn (Memory)—and practice defusion: “That’s Thought; thank you,” “That’s Memory; noted,” then ride one long out-breath. Runes for tonight: Algiz (protection) and Tiwaz (direction). Pocket practices: (1) Hand-to-heart + 4–2–6 before you answer; (2) The “One Clean Sentence”: “I’m not available for that; here is what I can do.” (3) Doorway drill: every time you touch a doorknob, take one slow out-breath and recall Algiz. This is boundary-setting as nervous-system care: less bracing, more clarity. Not exile, but alignment—so your yes stays bright and your no stays kind.
