Earlier this week, the White House announced it fired Dr. Susan Monarez, the director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Monarez's attorney released a statement that said HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. was “weaponizing public health for political gain and putting millions of American lives at risk,” and since then, other top leaders at the agency have resigned. Alex Knapp, a senior editor covering healthcare and science at Forbes, joined "Forbes Newsroom" to discuss.
