“He’s Dead” — But How Did She Know? Karen Read’s Behavior Before Finding the Body
Karen Read said, “Did I hit him?” — before John O’Keefe’s body had been found, before anyone saw a lifeless figure in the yard, before anyone knew anything for sure.
Why would someone ask that question unless they already feared — or knew — the worst?
In this episode, former FBI Special Agent and behavioral expert Robin Dreeke dissects those critical moments before the discovery: the words Karen chose, the panic she displayed, and how a trained profiler reads behavior that doesn’t quite fit the scene.
If the jury believes she knew he was dead before they found him, this could be the moment that defines the entire case.
