The disciples of Jesus were first called Christians in Antioch - Acts 11:26. Even pagans and idol worshippers knew who Christ followers were without being told. Their character and behaviour single them out of the crowd.
Now we are born again children of God there are certain attitude and behaviour will must strive to attain by all means possible so that our Christian profession will not become a child, because there are many in the body of Christ today who profess to be Christians but their character does not look like his. Ephesians 5:1-5, 1Jh 2:15-17.
