In this week’s ALIVE reflection, Fr. Jonathan Meyer connects the famous Stanford Marshmallow Test with the Gospel parable of the rich man and Lazarus.

Our culture often chases instant gratification — comfort, pleasure, and quick fixes. But Jesus reminds us that true fulfillment comes through patience, sacrifice, and the hope of eternal life.

🙏 How are you practicing delayed gratification in your faith and daily choices?

Take a moment to reflect and pray with this week’s Gospel, and let the Lord guide you to the lasting joy of heaven.

Be a saint. Live ALIVE.
