To regift or not to regift
Manage episode 493331862 series 3635682
With Danielle’s birthday coming up, Episode 24 is full of chatter about gifts and regifting. There are studies that show that regifting is actually completely OK with the gift giver, but the gift receivers need to chill out and stop feeling so guilty (there’s even National Regifting Day on December 27 this year). They also laugh about themed gifts – calling to mind Cheryl’s momentary mention of liking owls that caused an avalanche of owl-themed items and, of course, Danielle’s love of squares turning into a borage of gifts that resemble the furry backyard visitors. In the discussion are gift cards (are they thoughtless) and whether useful gifts are taboo (spoiler alert: you can get Danielle a juicer and Cheryl a new vacuum and neither of them will balk). And, if you feel so moved, make a donation to Danielle’s Blue's Bridge here.
