Virtual events helped keep the events industry afloat at a time when in-person events were out of the question. Even though in-person events are back, virtual isn’t going anywhere – but they’ve changed since 2020.
After two years, attendees are expecting more out of virtual events. Event professionals are tasked with creating engaging, immersive, and personalized digital experiences. This means rewriting the virtual playbook. A one hour webinar-style event with little engagement isn’t going to cut it.
