Though Shekher is a Gemologist by profession and has been a mortgage broker for many years , he knew that his mission was to take people on a journey of self-discovery and self- reflection whereby they could awaken to their true nature and align with their higher purpose.

Shekher has always believed that “Your Breath is Your Life”. This conviction led him to Thailand where he became certified as a SOMA Breathwork Instructor. He now facilitates this modality at his retreats as well as in many studios across Australia.

At Amavi Retreats, Shekher aims to provide his guests a safe and non-judgemental environment where they can release their negative emotions and let go of their fears and anxieties. By inculcating positive thoughts, they feel empowered with higher self-confidence and greater self-worth.
In this episode Jen interviews Shekhar, who shares his profound experiences with near-death situations and how they transformed his perspective on life. He discusses the importance of breathwork, personal growth, and the journey of healing from trauma. Shekhar emphasizes the significance of living in the present, overcoming fears, and finding happiness within oneself. The conversation also touches on parenting, generational trauma, and the power of intentions and gratitude in shaping one's life. Shekhar's insights inspire listeners to embrace their experiences and pursue their passions without delay.
