We welcome Stan Cullimore, the guitarist from The Housemartins - once dubbed the 4th best band in Hull!

Stan talks us through the beginnings on the busking path with Paul Heaton whilst at Uni in Hull, meeting Hugh and Norman Cook and the coincidental skills they all had at singing acapella. As a band they were happy with a John Peel audience but accidentally made it big with the song 'Happy Hour' written in 10 minutes, which then became a Top 5 hit. There is much laughter in this episode with talk of peanut butter, crisps and cheese. A hot tub lodge ghost story and Stan also chooses his 5 favourite tracks from the 80s.

Having also written children's books, worked in Children's television, He then became a travel writer and admits he talk bollocks and makes things up for a living! - DA
