Our guest this week on Educate Everyone is Marybeth Gasman. She's the Samuel DeWitt Proctor Endowed Chair in Education and a Distinguished Professor at Rutgers University. She also serves as Associate Dean for Research in the Graduate School of Education and Executive Director of both the Samuel DeWitt Proctor Institute for Leadership, Equity & Justice and the Rutgers Center for Minority Serving Institutions. A leading scholar on historically Black colleges and universities (HBCUs) and equity in higher education, Gasman has authored or edited over 35 books and written hundreds of scholarly and public articles. She is also recognized as one of the most influential education scholars in the U.S.
