In this episode of Educate Everyone, Dr Joseph Atman talks with Dr. Dane Sawyer, a Professor of Religion and Philosophy at the University of La Verne in Southern California. Dr. Sawyer has over 25 years of experience and leadership within urban education systems and professional associations. He has guided and supported new and transitioning leaders to serve confidently with clear and aligned purpose and action. The two have known each other since college and share some of their memories of making the decisions to continue their educations through arduous PhD programs only to find that their studies have had a profound impact on not only their careers but on their individual lives as well.
