These sounds—distorted whispers, shrill static, and maddening frequencies—seem to emanate from nowhere, yet always grow louder when they try to escape or uncover the truth.

Meanwhile, Jack, spirals further into paranoia. He claims the sounds are warnings, or perhaps communications from the spider-like rulers of this alternate dimension. His mental state deteriorates.
