IS IT VALID TO EXPECT OTHERS TO MEET YOUR EMOTIONAL NEEDS? -

... Keith and Lee love taking on big questions. The fact that they are not experts certainly doesn't stop them. And why should it? Like everyone else, they observe, have opinions, and therefore like to discuss them. Someone said that all men (and women) are philosophers. Hard not to agree with that, as all of us have views and stances concerning life and all its intricacies. It's one of the dimensions of living that makes life interesting. Just ask any poet. This question of looking to others, or another, to meet your emotional needs can be answered many ways. Bob Dylan sang, "I gave her my heart but she wanted my soul," which illustrates how someone in a close relationship may want to drag out of another more than is healthy. Yet, aren't relationships about support and caring for each other, even on an emotional level? Interesting territory to explore. So a little bit more serious from the boys on this episode ... oh until the end.
