Old school copywriting is all about understanding the reader's needs and desires, and then crafting a message that speaks to them directly. It's about creating a spark of interest and drawing the reader into the client's world.
Most websites are stuck on level one messaging, which is informational. This means they simply tell the reader who they are and what they do. However, the best websites use aspirational messaging to focus on the reader and what they want. They speak to the reader's negative present and their potential positive future.
Transformational messaging is the highest level of messaging, and it's often used in B2C marketing. It's about helping the reader imagine a new and better version of themselves.
AI is a disruptive force in the copywriting world. It can be used to generate creative ideas, personalize messages, and scale content production.
One copywriter, Dean, has been using AI copywriting services for the past four and a half months. He says that he hasn't found a limit yet to what AI can do for copywriting.
