John Modell has been working in the music industry his entire adult life. Production, mixing, songwriting, he's done it all. On top of that he helped his brother and father (David and Art) successfully operate and run the Baltimore Ravens to their first Championship back in 2001. One thing he hasn't got around to doing is releasing his own album, that is until now. John's band Casa Del Sol (Wally Ingram - drums, Mike DiPirro - bass, Might Dave - Keys, John Modell - Guitar/Singer) just released their new album. John was nice enough to stop by the show and talk about the album and his life leading up to it! John and Doc talk about living in San Francisco, helping with the Baltimore Ravens, touring with U2, producing the U2 3D movie, bringing all the band members of Casa Del Sol together, the new album and so much more! Meanwhile on the rest of the show Doc and Mike discuss the details of a good denial email. Make sure to listen! Introduction: 0:00:19 Birthday Suit 1: 11:38 Ripped from the Headlines: 15:20 Shoutouts: 29:46 Another guest turned us down and I didn’t like the way they turned us down: 33:25 John Modell Interview: 40:30 Mike C Top 3: 1:37:45 Birthday Suit 2: 1:55:30 Birthday Suit 3: 1:57:30
