One of God’s greatest priorities for lives is leading us into spiritual growth moments. These are often unavoidable & unexplainable life experiences; which on the surface can seem mainly about us living in discouragement or disappointment. BUT… the truth is, it’s a strategic time for our spiritual development!
Focus Scripture: Exodus 12:1-16;30-31
How to grow up by going through:
- Remember God has a plan
- God's plan is to be followed by us, NOT figured out by us!
- Revise my focus
- My focus matters, because my feelings will always follow my focus
- Refuse to complain
- Complaining makes me play the role of victim, not get ready for victory
- Redirect my faith to God
- At every red sea, we throw away our faith in God or we turn our faith to God
Big So What
We haven't completely crossed the red sea; until we're completely convinced to trust God.
This Week's Challenge:
Read - Exodus chapter 15 2x
Memorize - Exodus 14:31
Journal - Ask God for two things He's asking you to do - now!
Action - Set an alarm for 3x a day thankful/grateful praise break
Joins us on Sundays! Our 9:15am worship experience takes place in-person only while our 11:15am is both in-person and online (via the DLC App & YouTube).
