I bought a can of clear marking paint, by mistake, and tried to mark utilities with it. It obviously was a waste of time. Marking paint should not be invisible, and neither should Christ followers. Ironically, our words must be clear, and not vague. We must communicate the gospel with clarity. We must share what God says about sin, and also what He says about Grace. These are bold colors that scripture uses to warn us about dangers below the surface of a fallen world.

We have been called by Christ to be salt, and light. To reflect the light of Jesus, we must not only share His love, but also shine the light of His word upon the darkness of our world. He prayed in John 17

15 I do not ask that you take them out of the world, but that you keep them from the evil one.
16 They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world.
17 Sanctify them in the truth; your word is truth. (John 17:15, ESV)
