MARC SEAL, who grew up on Long Island, New York, is the co-founder and CEO of Sortium, a Web3/metaverse technology provider. SEAL has experience in the crypto and NFT markets and in gaming and the metaverse. He spend much of his time working out of Sortium's offices in El Salvador so he has a unique view of its adoption of bitcoin as a national currency. SEAL's unique entrepreneurial journey started when he first developed the concept for a new video game back in 2011. He skipped college and thought about a career in the Marines after high school. Instead, his career put him on on a 14-year journey working on various startups building games and commercial applications, in government, getting involved in early crypto and NFT projects, and then eventually running the Star Wars digital business for The Topps Company and building the ToppsNFTs business onboarding brands such as MLB, Bundesliga, UEFA as well as working with brands such as Disney.
